Charlotte Morganti Mysteries
where small town sleuths hang out
Charlotte Morganti, award-winning author of The Gabrieli Mysteries and winner of the inaugural Toby Award for Best Mystery by a Canadian Indie author, writes character-driven crime fiction set in small towns, blending humour, buried secrets, and emotionally complex sleuths.
Welcome! Pull up a chair and stay awhile.
Once upon a time, I was a Canadian lawyer. These days, I write award-winning mysteries about people in trouble who have to find their way out. I live on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, drink too much coffee, and believe a good mystery should offer a puzzle to solve, a measure of justice, and perhaps a redemption.
You’re in the right place if you love immersive mysteries with characters who feel real, familiar, and worth rooting for. Stories where the world wraps around you, the puzzle matters, and the answers bring more than justice. They bring reckoning, repair, and a way forward.
If you enjoy solving a good mystery and watching people find their footing again, you’re exactly where you belong.
If you’d like to stay awhile, I send a newsletter with notes from behind the scenes, glimpses of life between the pages, and news about upcoming mysteries. You’re very welcome to join me.
